The Mets didn’t score until the ninth inning but they got exactly enough runs to pick up the win in a 3-2 win.  Brett Harper had the big hit in the inning with a two run homer.  The long ball was his tenth homerun of the season.

Kevin Mulvey threw eight outstanding innings and he improved to 6-5 on the season.  He gave up one run on eight hits and three walks with three strikeouts.
