The B-Mets won a crazy won. They needed two runs in both the ninth and tenth innings to tie the game up for another inning then John Petersen drew a bases loaded walk in the bottom of the eleventh to win the game. Emmanual Garcia went three for six with a run and an RBI in the win.
Jose Sanchez gave up just two runs in eight frames in an impressive start. Adam Bostick threw a shutout eleventh and he improved to 4-0.
Baseball is in full gear both in the majors and minors but in the household as well. I picked up a brand new Rawlings baseball glove for his birthdayto try out. I’m hoping it works out even better then the Nokona glove that he was using last year.
Adam Bostick dropped to 2-5 on the season with a tough start in the Zephyrs’ 9-6 loss to Iowa. He gave up nine runs (seven earned) on nine hits and a walk with three strikeouts in four innings.
Chip Ambres had a career day at the plate in the loss. He went five for five with a double, two homeruns, four RBIs and three runs. Andy Tracy singled, drew two walks and scored three times.
Adam Bostick had a tough time in the Zephyrs’ 8-5 loss to Colorado Springs. He gave up five runs on seven hits and two walks with four strikeouts in just 2 2/3 innings.
Chip Ambres was the hitting star in the loss. He went one for three with a two run homer.
The Zephyrs were blown out 11-3 and most of that was at the hands of Adam Bostick, who took the loss in his start. He gave up seven runs on nine hits with four strikeouts in 4 2/3 innings.
Carlos Gomez had a nice day at the plate. He doubed, drew three walks and drove in two runs. Ruben Gotay, singled, doubled, drove in one and scored.

Lastings Milledge was the hitting star in the 3-2 win. He went two for four with a double, two runs and an RBI.

Mike DeFelice was the only New Orleans player to pick up two hits in the 10-3 loss. He went two for four and he scored a run.
Andy Tracy had a big game at the plate in the Zephyrs 5-2 win over Memphis. He went two for three with a homerun, a walk, three RBIs and a run. Five different Zephyrs had at least two hits in the game.
Adam Bostick had a decent start and he picked up the win. He gave up two runs on four hits and four walks with four strikeouts in five innings of work.
