The GCL Mets lost a tough one to the GCL Dodgers 8-3 in a rain shortened, five inning game.  Omar Perez dropped to 0-2 on the season with a rough start.  He gave up five runs on four hits and two walks with one strikeout in 2 2/3 innings.

Bradley Hubbert hit a two run homer in the loss.  Ezequiel Carrera went two for three with a double.

The GCL Mets beat the GCL Marlins 5-4 in a ten inning game that saw a lot of action in the final frames.  The Mets extended their lead to two runs with one run in the ninth but the GCL Marlins scored two in the bottom of the ninth to send the game into extra frames.  Then in the top of the tenth, Gabriel Zavala doubled home Partick Maat to give the Mets their winning run.

Bradley Hubbert was one of the hitting stars in the game.  He had only one hit but he also drew a walk and his hit was a two run homer.

Raul Batis picked up the win and he improved to 2-0.  He actually gave up the two runs in the ninth but he got bailed out with the tenth inning run by the Mets.

Santiago Valdez gave up three ninth inning runs as the GCL Mets lost to the GCL Marlins 3-2.  Up until then, three pitchers had held the Marlins scoreless.

Bradley Hubbert doubled and drove in both Mets’ runs.  Ignacio Medrano went one for three with a walk and he scored a run.
