Michael Devaney improved to 4-7 on the season with a solid outing in the Mets’ 3-1 win over Trenton. He gave up one hit and one walk with five strikeouts in six shutout innings.
Caleb Stewart went two for four with an RBI. Rafael Arroyo doubled and he scored a run in the win.
Jose Sanchez improved to 2-4 on the season with a nice start in the Mets 4-2 win over the Defenders. He gave up two runs on four hits and four walks with five strikeouts in 5 2/3 innings.
Brett Harper had a nice day at the plate. He went three for four with a double and two RBIs. Caleb Stewart went one for one with three walks and two runs.
Joseph Serfass gave up a single run but it turned out to be the losing run in the bottom of the tenth inning. He fell to 3-2 on the season with the loss.

Salvador Aguilar improved to 2-1 with a nice start. He gave up three runs (one earned) on seven hits and a walk with four strikeouts in six solid innings.

Binghamton scored five runs in the final four innings to beat the Defenders 6-5. Caleb Stewart went two for three and he drove in a run while Mike Nickeas went three for four with two runs scored.

Caleb Stewart singled home Fernando Martinez to win it in the ninth inning as Binghamtom edged Altoona 2-1. Stewart was also the only Met to have two hits in the game so he was definitely the hitting star.
