Chan Ho Park improved to 4-4 on the season with a nice start in the Zephyrs 6-2 win over Salt Lake. Park gave up one run on five hits and a walk with eight strikeouts in 7 2/3 innings.
Chip Ambres went two for three with a solo homerun. Fernando Tatis went two for four with a solo homerun.
Chan Ho Park was hit very hard in the Zephyrs’ 8-6 loss to Omaha. He gave up seven runs on fourteen hits and two walks with three strikeouts in 4 2/3 innings.
Chip Ambres homered and drove in two runs in the loss. Jake Gautreau went three for five with two doubles and two runs.
New Orleans lost to the Isotopes 4-3 and the offense never really got on track in this one. Jason Alfaro went two for three with a double and two RBIs. Fernando Tatis walked twice and he scored two runs.
Chan Ho Park had a mixed start but he dropped to 3-3 on the season. He did give up four runs on seven hits and three walks but he struck out nine in the loss.
This was a crazy game. The Zephyrs gave up a three run lead in the ninth, went down by two in the eleventh and then rallied for three runs in the bottom of the eleventh to win it 8-7. Chip Ambres was one of the hitting stars. He went two for six with two RBIs and a run.
Chan Ho Park threw six shutout innings to start the game but then three consecutive relievers all gave up runs. Eddie Camacho picked up the win despite giving up the two runs in the eleventh.
The Zephyrs ran up the scored on the Istopes to the tune of 17 runs and 23 hits. Ricky Ledee had a monster game and he went four for five with a homerun and seven RBIs. Andy Tracy also had a huge game and he went five for six with a homerun, three RBIs and four runs. In this one, just about everyone was a hitting star.
Chan Ho Park picked up the win despite getting shelled in the 17-8 loss. He gave up six runs on eight hits and three walks with seven strikeouts in five innings.
A late surge by Memphis made this one close but the Zephyrs walked away with a 7-6 win. Mike DeFelice was the hitting star in the win. He went three for four with a homerun, two RBIs and two runs.
Chan Ho Park picked up the win with six solid innings. He gave up three runs on six hits and a walk with four strikeouts.
New Orleans was blown out today and Chan Ho Park was hammered in the loss. He gave up eight runs on ten hits in just four innings.
The lone run in the 14-1 loss came in the ninth inning. Andy Tracy hit a solo homerun.
The New Orleans Zephyrs swept their double header over Nashville with two impressive pitching performances. In the first game, Jorge Sosa threw six shutout innings and he gave up just two hits in the win. Fernando Tatis singled and drove in two runs in the 3-2 win.
Chan Ho Park threw six shutout innings as well in game two. He struck out six and walked one. Anderson Hernandez went two for four with a double and he scored the lone run in the win.
