Michael Devaney was tagged for five runs in the second inning but he buckled down and with some help from the pen and the hitters. the Mets pulled this one out in a 6-5 win. Tim McNab picked up the win and he improved to 6-0 on the season.
Caleb Stewart homered and drove in three runs as he continues a great season at the plate. Corey Ragsdale went two for four with a double and a two run homer.
Kevin Mulvey had a tough start. While he gave up seven hits, all three of his runs were unearned because of one tough inning in the fifth. A throwing error by Corey Ragsdale would have made it three outs but a susbsequent double piled on the runs in the inning.
There really were no hitting stars in this one. Nobody reached base more then once and there wasn’t a single extra base hit in the 3-1 loss.

Corey Ragsdale had a nice game at the plate. He went two for five with a double, two RBIs and a run. Jose Coronado went two for five with two runs.
