Dustin Martin doubled home a run in the seventh inning and then Ender Chavez singled home a run in the eighth to complete a comeback in St. Lucie’s 7-6 win over Tampa. Martin finished with three hits and two RBIs while Nick Evans doubled twice, scored two runs and drove in two.
Tobi Stoner had a rough start and he gave up six runs in 4 2/3 innings but the bullpen and the hitters picked him up. Jose De La Torre picked up the win and he threw two shutout innings of relief.
Both Dunedin and St. Lucie had a late flurry of runs but it was St. Lucie who came out on top 6-5. Jose Castro went three for four with a double, a run and an RBI. Dustin Martin went two for four with a two run homer.
Tobi Stoner had a nice start despite not getting the win. He gave up two runs (both unearned) on four hits and three walks with two strikeouts in five innings. Ricardo Morales gave up three runs in three innings and he picked up the win.
Jonathan Niese improved to 6-3 on the season with a nice start in St. Lucie’s 3-1 win over Jupiter. He gave up just one unearned run on five hits with seven strikeouts in seven solid innings.
Dustin Martin singled and drove in two runs in the win. Jamar Hill went two for three with a double and a run.
St. Lucie won their third straight game and Joshua Petersen continued his nice season with a solid day at the plate. He went one for three with a homerun, two RBIs and two runs. Dustin Martin went two for four with a double and two runs.
Joe Hietpas picked up the win. He gave up a run in two innings of relief.
St. Lucie won 10-7 and Dustin Martin was one of the hitters who kept Sarasota in the game. He went three for four with a triple, and RBI and three runs. Daniel Murphy had only one hit but it was a three run homer and he finished the game with four RBIs.
Oddly, Jacob Ruckle picked up the win despite having the toughest time on the mound. He gave up four runs in three innings and the win pushes his record to 4-3 on te season.
Robert Parnell dropped to 3-3 on the season with a rough start in the Mets 6-2 loss to Lakeland. He gave up four runs on six hits and three walks with five strikeouts in five innings of work.
Dustin Martin was the hitting star in the loss. He went four for four with a solo homerun.
Jacob Ruckle threw six great innings of shutout relief and he picked up the win in St. Lucie’s 8-0 win over Lakeland. He gave up just one hit and walk with three strikeouts and the win pushes his record to 3-3 on the season.

Dustin Martin singled home Jamar Hill in the bottom of the ninth to win it for St. Lucie in their 5-4 win over Vero Beach. To get to that point, they got a couple of big homeruns. Both Joshua Petersen and Sean Henry went yard and each had nice days that plate in the win.
Brandon Nall picked up the win with two shutout innings of relief. He struck out two and gave up two hits.
St. Lucie beat Clearwater 5-3 and St. Lucie Robert Parnell got it done on the mound. He gave up just two runs on five hits and three walks with ten strikeouts and the win improved his record to 2-2 on the season.

All three St. Lucie pitchers were hit hard in their 10-3 loss to Brevard County. Jacob Ruckle took the loss and he dropped to 2-2 on the season. He gave up four runs on four hits and a walk with three strikeouts in 2 2/3 innings.
Sean Henry drove in two runs in the loss. Dustin Martin went two for five and he doubled.
St. Lucie got plenty of hitting in their 9-1 win over Daytona. Corey Coles doubled and drove in three runs while Dustin Martin went two for five with a homerun and he scored three runs.
Jose De La Torre picked up his first win of the season with five shutout innings. He gave up just four hits and two walks with four strikeouts in the win.
St. Lucie lost again although this game was pretty tight. Eric Brown threw six solid innings and he gave up just one run but Joseph Serfass gave up three runs in the ninth to lose it.
Sean Henry hit a solo homerun in the 4-3 loss. Dustin Martin doubled and scored a run.
St. Lucie scored four runs in the fifth inning to take a 5-1 lead but the pen gave up four late runs and the end result was a 6-5 loss to Palm Beach. Jonathan Niese had a pretty good start go to waste and he gave up two runs (one earned) on four hits and two walks with three strikeouts in 5 1/3 innings. Eddie Camacho took the loss and he gave up three innings in the final two frames and he struck out four.

It was only a solo shot, but it ended up being the difference in the win. Dustin Martin also had a nice game at the plate. He went two for five with a triple, two RBIs and a run.
Mike Pelfrey picked up the win with six solid innings. He gave up three runs (two earned) on five hits and three walks with two strikeouts.
Deolis Guerra got it done today in a seven inning rain shortened game with Vero Beach. Guerra gave up two hits in five shutout innings and he struck out five.
Joshua Petersen tripled and drove in a run in the 2-0 win. Dustin Martin singled and he scored one of the two runs.
