St. Lucie lost their third straight game in an 8-4 loss to Clearwater.  Joshua Petersen belted a three run homer Nick Evans hit a solo shot and scored two runs to provide the Mets with their four runs.

Jacob Ruckle dropped to 4-6 on the season with a rough start.  He gave up four runs on nine hits with three strikeouts in 5 1/3 innings.

Four players had multihit games in St. Lucie’s 6-1 win over Fort Myers but only one had more then one RBI and that was Daniel Murphy.  He went two for four with three RBIs and a run.  Emmanuel Garcia had a nice game as well and he went four for five with two runs.

Jacob Ruckle gave up just one unearned run in five innings but he didn’t get a decision.  The win went to Joe Hietpas, who gave up just one hit in two shutout innings.

Jacob Ruckle gave up three late runs in St. Lucie’s 6-3 loss to Vero Beach.  Only one of the runs was earned and he gave up four hits with one strikeout in three innings of relief.

Joshua Petersen tripled, drove in two runs and scored a run.  Rafael Arroyo went two for four with a double and an RBI.

St. Lucie won 10-7 and Dustin Martin was one of the hitters who kept Sarasota in the game.  He went three for four with a triple, and RBI and three runs.  Daniel Murphy had only one hit but it was a three run homer and he finished the game with four RBIs.

Oddly, Jacob Ruckle picked up the win despite having the toughest time on the mound.  He gave up four runs in three innings and the win pushes his record to 4-3 on te season.

Jacob Ruckle threw six great innings of shutout relief and he picked up the win in St. Lucie’s 8-0 win over Lakeland.  He gave up just one hit and walk with three strikeouts and the win pushes his record to 3-3 on the season.

Dustin Martin went two for five with a double, three RBIs and two runs.  Jose Castro went three for five with a double, an RBI and three RBIs.

Talk about an ugly game.  The pitchers gave up 12 runs and the hitters picked up just four hit in the 12-0 loss.  Daniel Murphy had the only extra base hit of the game with a double.

Jacob Ruckle took the loss and he dropped to 2-3.  He gave up six runs on four hits and three walks with two strikeouts in 3 1/3 innings.

All three St. Lucie pitchers were hit hard in their 10-3 loss to Brevard County.  Jacob Ruckle took the loss and he dropped to 2-2 on the season.  He gave up four runs on four hits and a walk with three strikeouts in 2 2/3 innings.

Sean Henry drove in two runs in the loss.  Dustin Martin went two for five and he doubled.

St. Lucie topped Vero Beach and the pitchers really got it done.  Jonathan Niese threw five shutout innings and gave up just one hit and for his troubles, he didn’t even pick up the win.  Jacob Ruckle picked up the win with three shutout frames.

Nick Evans provided the bulk of the offense for St. Lucie.  He went two for four with a double, a homerun and two RBIs in the 4-0 win.
