Brooklyn Edges Aberdenn In Rain Shortened Game

by @ 11:31 pm. Filed under Brooklyn Cyclones - June 2007, J.R. Voyles, Matthew Bouchard, Josh Appell

The Cyclones took care of Aberdeen 9-7 and they were helped out by some rain because the game was called an inning short.  J.R. Voyles had a nice day at the plate and he went two for four with a double, four RBIs and a run.  Matthew Bouchard was a perfect three for three with two doubles and three runs.

None of the Cyclones pitchers threw particularly well.  Josh Appell picked up the win despite giving up a tying run in the top of the eighth.
