The GCL Mets lost to the GCL Cardinals 8-2 and it was Nathan Vineyard who took the loss.  He gave up five runs on five hits and one walk with five strikeouts in 3 1/3 innings.  The loss dropped to 0-2 on the season.

Ricard Lucas was the hitting star in the loss.  He went two for five with a run.

Nathan Hedrick had a tough time on the mound in the GCL Mets 8-6 rain shortened loss to the GCL Nationals.  He gave up six runs (five earned) on two hits and five walks in just one inning of work.

Richard Lucas was the hitting star in the loss.  He went three for four with a double and he drove in three runs.
