The GCL Mets lost to the GCL Nationals 3-2 and a solid start by Gavin Dlouhy went to waste.  He gave up one run on four hits and a walk with three strikeouts in five innings.  Rogers Figueroa gave up two runs in four innings of relief and he took the loss.

Moises Alou went two for three with a solo homerun in his rehab start.  Stefan Welch went two for four with two doubles and an RBI.

Stefan Welch drove home the winning run in the top of the tenth inning with a sac. fly in the GCL Mets 5-4 win over the GCL Nationals.  Ernesto Gonzalez went three for five with a run while Welch finished the game with two RBIs.

Rhiner Cruz picked up the win with two shutout innings.  He gave up just one hit and he struck out three in the win.
