by @ 11:16 pm. Filed under Jose Santiago, Anderson Hernandez, Steve Schmoll, Ricky Ledee, Robinson Cancel

Down 4-0, the Zephyrs scored three runs in the seventh and one in the eighth to send the game into extra frames.  Then in the tenth, Rickey Ledee scored on a walk off sac. fly by Anderson Hernandez.  Robinson Cancel played a big part in the comeback.  He went two for four with a double, a homerun, two RBIs and two runs.

Jose Santiago was hit hard in his start and he gave up four runs in five innings.  Steve Schmoll threw a shutout tenth and he picked up the win.

Zephyrs Blown Out in Rain Shortened Game

by @ 11:29 pm. Filed under Philip Humber, New Orleans Zephyrs - April 2007, Steve Schmoll, Mike DeFelice

It was actually nice to get this one over early as the Zephyrs were pounded for 14 runs on 16 hits in just seven innings.  Philip Humber was shelled for four runs in three innings and Steve Schmoll was tagged for six runs in 2 1/3 innings.

Mike DeFelice provided most of the Zephyrs offense with a two run homerun in the 14-3 loss.  He was also the only Zephyr with two hits.
