Mike DiFelice was the hitting star in the Zephyr’s 9-5 win over Omaha. He went two for three with a double, three RBIs and a run. Jake Gautreau made a big contribution with a three run homer and Chip Ambres went three for four with two runs scored.
Tim McNab picked up the win with three solid innings of relief. He gave up one run on three hits and a walk with one strikeout and the win pushes his record to 1-0 on the season.
This was a tough loss. The Mets scored a run in the top of the fourteenth only to see Tim McNab give up two runs in the bottom of the fourteenth to lose it. The loss was McNab’s first of the season and he fell to 6-1.
Corey Coles was the hitting star in the 5-4 loss. He went four for seven with an RBI and a run.
Michael Devaney was tagged for five runs in the second inning but he buckled down and with some help from the pen and the hitters. the Mets pulled this one out in a 6-5 win. Tim McNab picked up the win and he improved to 6-0 on the season.
Caleb Stewart homered and drove in three runs as he continues a great season at the plate. Corey Ragsdale went two for four with a double and a two run homer.
The Mets survived a poor start by Jose Sanchez and came back to beat the Seawolves 8-7. Sanchez gave up six runs on five hits and two walks with seven strikeouts in five innings of work. Tim McNab picked up the win with three solid innings of relief and he improved to 5-0 on the season.
Corey Coles was the hitting star in the win. He went three for five with a double, an RBI and two runs. Mark Kiger went two for four with a solo homer and two runs scored.
Binghamton scored five runs in the final four innings to beat the Defenders 6-5. Caleb Stewart went two for three and he drove in a run while Mike Nickeas went three for four with two runs scored.
Tim McNab improved to 4-0 on the season with two shutout innings of relief. Jose Sanchez gave up five runs (two earned) in 6 1/3 innings.
Binghamton got some solid pitching in their 6-2, eleven inning win over the Defenders. Marcos Carvajal gave up two runs in his four inning start but then the pen really came through. Ricardo Morales threw three shutout innings and Tim McNab threw four. McNab picked up the win and he improved to 3-0 on the season.
Jose A. Reyes and Jose Coronado each had nice games at the plate. They both had two hits, a run and an RBI.
