Sand Gnats Edge Kannapolis

by @ 11:03 pm. Filed under Tobi Stoner, Hector Pellot, Savannah Sand Gnats - May 2007

The Sand Gnats scored all three of their runs in their 3-2 win in the third inning and while they saw Kannapolis chip away at the lead, the closest things got was a one run deficit.  Tobi Stoner had a great start and he picked up his first win of the season.  He gave up just one run on two hits and he didn’t walk a single batter with five strikeouts in seven innings of work.

Hector Pellot had a the big hit in the game.  He singled and drove in two of the Sand Gnats three runs.
