The Sand Gnats couldn’t get the bats going and the end result was a 7-2 loss to Rome.  Leivi Ventura doubled home two runs to account for all of the offense by the Sand Gnats.

Greg Mullens was hit hard and he took the loss.  He gave up four runs on five hits and three walks with four strikeouts in five innings.
