Tobi Stoner Throws Six Solid Innings In Sand Gnats Loss

by @ 11:49 pm. Filed under Savannah Sand Gnats - April 2007, Tobi Stoner, Joshua Thole, Todd Privatt

Tobi Stoner didn’t nab his first win yet, but it wasn’t because of his performance on the mound.  He gave one unearned run on just two hits and he struck out six in six solid innings.  He set a season high for strikeouts and innings.  Unfortunately, Todd Privitt wasn’t as good and he gave up four runs after Stoner left as the Sand Gnats lost it 5-3.

Josh Thole was the hitting star.  He went two for four and he scored one of the runs.

Another great start and nothing to show for it. I wonder if there is a chance of Tobi being promote to St. Lucie?
